Michael Keech and Joe Empl are pleased to announce a new working partnership between EKA Limited and EMPL Fahrzeugwerk GmbH, strengthening specialist military and civilian vehicle capabilities across the UK and Ireland.
EMPL is one of Europe’s leading specialist vehicle body builders and equipment manufacturers. For over 50 years, EKA has supported the British Army with three generations of Recovery Vehicles and ongoing programmes including CRARRV, FUCHS, MLRS RRV and MLRS Safety Services.
Under this partnership, EKA will provide regional support for EMPL equipment while introducing EMPL’s specialist products and services to customers across the UK and Northern Ireland. In turn, EMPL gains access to the growing UK market for specialist military and commercial vehicle solutions.
Michael Keech commented:
“This marks another important step in EKA Limited’s growth as we expand beyond our core military recovery expertise. We are delighted to work in closer cooperation with a professional, dedicated and customer-focused organisation like EMPL.”
Joe Empl added:
“This partnership is an exciting opportunity to bring over 100 years of Austrian engineering and manufacturing excellence to the UK market. While EMPL continues to grow, we remain a close family of colleagues and value working with trusted partners who share our principles.”
Militär Aktuell, an Austrian military news hub, have reported:
“This creates a new, transnational axis between continental Europe and the United Kingdom for the increasingly relevant area of military support and special vehicles in terms of security policy”.
